All of Manhattan society is grieving the devastating loss of Elizabeth Holland. Yet, everyone is also waited for the day they can stop grieving and start enjoying life again. This especially includes Henry Schoonmaker, Elizabeth's fiancee. He is ready to move on with his life and find a new bride. Only the one person he wants, Diana Holland, he can't have because she is his deceased fiancee's sister. And even worse Penelope Hayes still wants Henry and will do anything to get him. Rumors is the second book in the Luxe series and is just as enticing as the first. There is so much drama surrounding the upper crust of 1899 Manhattan that nobody knows who to trust and what will happen next. This is a great fun read for anyone who loves Gossip Girl.
