Melonhead by Katy Kelly
Melonhead is a nine year old mischief maker. He does everything with good intentions but it all ends up as a mess. When he and his friend Sam are giving the task of creating a reinvention, he and Sam come up with some great ideas. Unfortunately, all of the ideas end up creating a mess. Melonhead ends up doing everything from getting his foot stuck in a tree to losing a snake in his house.
Melonhead is a funny story about the mischief boys make. It was a great look at boys and how they really think. They have good intentions in what they are doing but don't understand the consequences of what they are doing. This is a fun book that people young and old would enjoy.
